We Believe The Gospel Message

A Message From The Word of God To All Believers!

The Son of God bore no sin of His own. He is “holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners” (Hebrews 7:26); He “did no sin” (I Peter 2:22).

The Way of Salvation

Have you ever heard the Gospel? The real Gospel?

Has anyone ever explained the True Plan of Salvation to you?

The Word Gospel means “good news.”  The good news message “that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures” (I Corinthians 15:3,4).

Why did the Lord Jesus Christ die on the cross? “For our sins!”

God says: “Be ye holy; for I am holy” (I Peter 1:16).

His standard of holiness is written clearly in the Law [the ten commandments].

The law is holy, and the commandment is holy, and God is just, and good” (Romans 7:12).

James 2:10 says: 10 For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all.

Rom 3:10 says: “There is none righteous, no, not one” (Romans 3:10);

Rom 3:23 says: “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory [holy standard] of God” (Romans 3:23).

God looks not at our outward appearance … but in reality … God looks Deep into Man’s heart!

1 Samuel 16:7 says: 7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.

Beloved Brother … “Your family, and friends, may have many good things to say about you, but when God looks upon your heart, He sees you as a sinner, through and through:  1John 1:7-9.

Why is this True?  Because we are Sinners by birth! We are Adam’s Descendants!

Psalm 58:3 says:  The wicked are estranged from the womb; They go astray as soon as they are born, speaking lies.

Jeremiah 17:9 says: “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”

James 4:17 says:  Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.

John 3:19 says: we are a sinner by choice, “And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil”.

Perhaps the scariest thing in all the world, I believe is the understanding given to Man in the Holy Scriptures, that there is absolutely nothing we as Men can do to change ourselves.

* We need an intercessor and god to help us.

(Jer 13:23) says: “Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil”

We can dress up our outward appearance with religion, good deeds, and clean living.  We may impress men, but we cannot change our heart.

But the Word of God says in Isaiah 64:6 “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness’s are as filthy rags”.

Brother / Sister … Our Sin (Sinful State) has enormous consequences both in this life, and the next!

Rom 6:23 says: “For the wages of sin is death”.

Heb 9:27 says:   And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,

The entrance of Sin and Evil into God’s perfect creation, brought about Adam’s fall, his immediate spiritual death, and this is the reason why the scriptures tell us that “Adam and his wife hid themselves (tried to hide the Sin of their Disobedience, from the presence of the LORD God” (Genesis 3:8);

The effect of man's fall from grace … his turning away from God, is the curse, for breaking his Covenant with God ... Death:

Gen 3:19 says:  In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for dust you are, and to dust you shall return.”

Sin convicts and condemns every man to a life of Eternal Death — and the awful thing about this condemnation is that we are eternally, separated from God, forever!!

This judgment is not one where we come before God, in order to see and find out if our “good” deeds outweighs our “bad,” for there can be no sin or sinners in Heaven, … Not even one!

NKJ Revelation 21:27 says:  But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.

Judgment Day offers you no hope — only eternal condemnation:

Rev Chapter 20: verses 12 & 15 say: “And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life:…And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire”.

- That’s the bad news!  Without the help of God, in Jesus Christ, you are a sinner, lost, and you face a Christ-less (Godless) life, in eternity in a state without any hope — forever!

Thank God for the Good News!  Christ died for your sins.

You see, God hates our wickedness, but He loves us!

But God cannot (and will not) overlook or excuse even one of our sins, while at the same times, He desires to save us from eternal separation from Him, in Hell.

God desires to bring every man into a real and deep personal relationship with Himself.

Therefore God’s righteousness, love and grace have met, and paid for our sin ... Our debt … by providing the sacrifice that was needed for man's  sins.  The Debt we owe is paid in full for it is satisfied in Jesus Christ:

Rom 5:8 says: But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

The Son of God bore no sin of His own. He is “holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners” (Hebrews 7:26); He “did no sin” (I Peter 2:22).

As Jesus hung upon the cross 2,000 years ago, God the Father literally “made him to be sin for us” (2 Corinthians 5:21).

Yes, Jesus took your place. He paid your debt — IN FULL!

1Pet 3:18 says: For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but made alive by the Spirit,

1Pet 2:24 says:  who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.

The payment that God demanded for your sin, was paid by the precious blood of God’s own dear loving, life-giving Son.

Heb 9:24-26 says: For Christ has not entered the holy  places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven  itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us; 25 not that He should offer Himself often,  as the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood of  another 26 He then would have had to suffer often  since the foundation of the world; but now, once at the end of the ages,  He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.

Ephesians 1:7 says: In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.

Heb 9: 14 says: how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience

from dead works, to serve the living God?

The Good News is this:

Romans 4:25 says: He was delivered up because of our offenses and was raised because of our justification

.

Acts 2:23-24 says: Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death; 24 whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it.

Romans 5:1 says: Therefore, having been justified by faith, [a]we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

Rom 5:9-10 says:  Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. 10 For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

Titus 3:7 says: 7 that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

2Ti 1:10 says: but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,

SO, WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?

First, understand that it is not enough merely to know these truths.

Why? Mark 1:15 says:  For Jesus himself said: “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel” (Mark 1:15).

Yes, "Salvation" is freely offered to every sinner, but it is a gift that must be received:

Romans 6:23 says: For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life, in Christ Jesus our Lord.

For your Soul to be saved, you must personally and sincerely consider What the Word of God clearly says!  You must Repent … and Repent means to change your mind, change the your heart and the manner of your reasoning.

- The Word of God will do this for you!  All praise and Glory be given to our Lord Jesus Christ!

God's Word is obvious in this gift and miracle. If something requires cleansing,  in your life, "the washing of water by the word" must be actively present in you (Ephesians 5:26). Why? Because God does not work apart from His Word. From the creation of the world to the present, the place of God's Word in His work has been essential: "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the  beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him  nothing was made that was made" (John 1:1-3). The Scriptures teach that God, the Word, became flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:14).

This clearly teaches that you must receive Jesus Christ as your Savior:

John 1:12 says: But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:

Effectually believing the Gospel however requires true repentance and faith on your part.  How do you receive Faith?

Rom 10:17 says: Faith cometh by hearing the Word of God!

There is great power in the Word of God (Pro 30:5).

It can transform a person dramatically (Luke 4:4) working mightily and greatly in those who have Faith in Christ (1Thes 2:13).

Repentance means a change of mind and heart, leading to a change of life and action.  The Word of God is Powerful, Active and Alive ... It is likened unto a Double-edged Sword (Heb 4: 12-13).

Jesus said ... “Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish” (Luke 13:3).

It is through our hearing the Gospel ... that the Word of God stirs our heart and our heart is moved and changed!

Your first step of faith in Repentance involves a 180 degree turn (about-face as they say in the Military) and change of your spiritual direction.  Whereas you are walking down the broad way “that leadeth to destruction,” you must now knowingly and willingly turn to Christ, turn to His Word, and enter in at the “strait gate,” taking the narrow way “which leadeth unto life” (Matthew 7:13,14).

Initially, Faith will simply mean believing the Word and — taking God at His Word, and then really acting upon it. Try walking, like a Child learning to walk or ride a bike.

The Apostle Paul said in Rom 1:16 … “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth”.

Next, You Must Realize that the Salvation of God is a Matter of the Heart and Your Mouth:

Rom 10: 9-10 says: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation”.

Luke 12:8-9 says: Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God: …

To confess with our mouth means that you are publicly calling upon the Lord Jesus Christ, and that you are receiving Him as your Lord and Savior,

Rom 10:13 says: “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved”.

The Question Now Becomes, “What Will You Do About It?

· Will you believe, or will you reject it?

The Gospel Comes With a Gracious Invitation

In Rev 22:17 the word of God says: “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come.  And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely” (Revelation 22:17).

Will you come right now to Jesus Christ? Please understand, that you must come to Him and you must come to Him on His terms. You must truly receive Him as your personal Savior!

In God’s Word He gives Man SOLEMN WARNINGS!

  • There is one who will do all he can in his own power and strength to keep you from hearing and believing the Gospel.  Please carefully read: 2 Corinthians 4:3-4.

  • There is also a clear and present danger in rejecting the Gospel.  Jesus tells of the state of such a rich man ... rich in all his pomp and reasoning.  Luke 16:19-27!

  • The writer of Psalm 49:20 calls such a man ,,,, a Beast!  In the Revelation ... John writes of those who follow the Beast in Rev chapter 13.

  • Now Please read: 2 Thessalonians      1:7-9.

2 Thessalonians 1:7-9 says: and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, 8 in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,

If the testimony you have just received has stirred your heart ... Don't Wait ... Give Us a Call!  The Lord is waiting for you!
